Janani Bharadwaj – Director of Concerts & Live Events
A seasoned playback singer and a dynamic business leader, Janani brings together the worlds of music and management with effortless grace. With over 20 film songs to her credit, she has lent her voice to hits like Athiri Pathiri (Ayya – Nayanthara’s intro), Tottadaing (Aasal – Ajith Kumar), Indha Nimidam (Pallikoodam), and Ulaga Azhagi Naan Dhaan (Pirappu).
Daughter of legendary music director Bharadwaj, Janani has performed on some of the world’s biggest stages across Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, USA, and Canada.
Off stage, she serves as a Senior Manager at a Big 4 Technology firm, where she handles multiple large accounts and drives high-impact results. As an artist herself, she brings a deep understanding of stage production, making her a key force behind seamless execution and creative direction at Master Mediaworks.
Balaji Varadharaja Perumal - Director of Standup Comedy & Community Events
Balaji, a mechanical engineering professional and Vice President of VMI Canada, is a key pillar in the execution of Master Mediaworks’ events. He serves as the technical backbone, leading visuals, audio, and on-ground production with precision and dedication.
A die-hard Thalapathy Vijay fan, Balaji brings the Thalapathy spirit into every project. He’s also co-hosted several social welfare initiatives and movie promotions for VMI Canada, contributing both heart and hands-on support.
Known for adding realism and structure to some of our dreamier ideas, Balaji helps ensure every bold vision is brought to life — with clarity, control, and crowd-pleasing execution.
His mix of passion, precision, and hands-on leadership ensures every Master Mediaworks event is executed to perfection.
Kartik Venkatraman – Founder & Head of Creatives
Kartik is the visionary behind Master Mediaworks, blending strategic insight with a deep passion for Tamil cinema and cultural storytelling. As President of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam – Canada, he has led major social welfare initiatives and strengthened the voice of the Tamil diaspora in Canada.
A former Senior Director at one of Canada’s largest IT firms, Kartik is known for his thought leadership, community engagement, and ability to bring bold ideas to life. He has played a key role in Canada promotions and FDFS celebrations for blockbuster films like Beast, Varisu, Leo, and GOAT — including the Canada GOAT flag jump initiative featured by AGS Productions, and the iconic Thalapathy Vijay Times Square billboard that gained global attention.
With strong connections in both the Canadian Tamil community and the media industry in India, Kartik brings clarity, reach, and purpose to every project.
